+ Can you do Hair & Makeup for larger Bridal parties?
Yes. Both hair and makeup services are available for single or group bookings. For Bridal parties of 4 or more people, An artist will do both the Brides hair & makeup while another artist will be contracted to assist with getting the rest of your bridal party ready with ease and in a timely matter.
+ Do I need to book a trial before booking?
Yes, trials can be done either before or after you secure your wedding date, they are a separate mandatory service. This will give us the opportunity to discuss, the makeup & hair looks and any other special requirements to help you manage your look on your wedding day. Bridal hair & makeup trials are available any day of the week during business hours and SELECT weekend dates only and will be done at the House of Snob.
+ How do I book and secure my wedding/event date?
A non-refundable deposit is required through e-transfer to secure a wedding date. Please note, dates can fill up fast, especially during peak wedding season (May-Sept). To avoid disappointment, it is recommended to secure your wedding date as soon as you know you want to move forward with your booking. Dates cannot be held or tentatively booked without the deposit.
If you wish to book a trial before securing your wedding date, it is recommended to have a trial 3-4 months prior to your suspected wedding date.
+ How much do you charge?
Pricing will vary depending on how many people the booking is for and the number of services required as well as the location. Click here to request a quote to get a better idea of pricing for your big day.
+ How long does it usually take?
The average time for makeup only services is 45 minutes per person and an hour for the brides makeup look. Hair only can vary between 45 minutes - 1 hour per person depending on hair length/type and style.
Hair & makeup services together can take 1.5 hours - 2 per person. For larger bookings with the assistance of another artist hair & makeup services are estimated to work out to be 1-1.5 hours per person.
+ Do you travel outside of Edmonton?
Yes, we are available for travel for weddings and events in the the surrounding Alberta and British Columbia area.
Travel fee’s do apply for bridal bookings outside of Edmonton. There is a minimum of 5 people required for hair only or makeup only bookings and a required minimum of 3 people for hair & makeup bookings.
